algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi,
Does anyone know how I can have equal grids on the NURBS surfase? (I mean equaly divide the curves on the NURBS surface )
Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks

something?
Fernando,
The problem is that for example in your definition, it gives 16 curves instead of 20!!! it always gives wrong numbers! I don't know what's the problem!

Chris,
Again the number of curves which SubCrv gives me is different from the actual curve on the surface! for example it gives me 80 curves in which there are 20 curves!
Another question: does anyone know how you can manipulate control points of the curves on the NURBS surface? (I mean how you can add, delete, move control points of the NURBS curves on the surface separately)
I really need any help,
Thanks
Nick
Any chance you can describe your overall intention with this definition? I only ask because it gets tedious going back and expanding the details of the 'next' question when it might turn out that there's a better way to approach the problem but for the lack of an understanding of what the final intention is.
Chris
Chris,
I want to generate a NURBS surface and optamize it using Galapagos, for that, i need to know how to change the control point of the curves on the NURBS surface, then I can use Galapogas to generate different NURBS surface.
I hope it makes clear what I want to do and would be appreciated for your help
See if this definition helps.
Thanks Chris,
I don't understand what is the "U" in SrfGrid comp.? I know it is the number of points in u direction, but why it does work just for some certain numbers?
It works for the numbers that represent the possible u count. It also changes depending on how you pick the points. It's one of the components that you have to play with a bit to see what it's doing.
