I tried using the same N51E70 file and it worked fine for me, though it didn't produce anything. There needs to be a difference between the numbers in order for it to work. The error you're getting is probably because you're using an SRTM3 format file and the default is SRTM1. SRTM3 only has 1201x1201 elevation samples and SRTM1 has 3601x3601 elevation samples so if you're going out of the range of the file. Set the F input boolean to false and see if that clears up the error. You'll still need to modify the latitude domain to see anything.

The boolean did solve the error. But yes, the area seems empty.
