Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I need to understand in which order do I need to input the material component. Should it be connected to the export mesh component or after this one. I think the simplest question should be : How can I tell Ecotect what is the material of the Geo being exportedé (i.e.: calculate the insolation falling in to a room through a lowE glass pane).

Thank you

Hi Claudio,

in the latest Geco version you can add with the "Export Mesh to Ecotect" component the material attributes ([T] and [M] input) for the mesh you inputed into the component.

In the versions before you needed first to export the mesh to Ecotect and then set the material

attributes, like in this example I made last year.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Martin.

Great Martin that is very kind from you. I update the definition and it seems to work perfectly

I really appreciate your help. I've just started with GEco and ecotect

cheers
