Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm trying to build an Organic Panel. the base geometry is Triangle. the Loft is generated from 6 Curves ,4 Polyline Curves and the 2 "organic" are Periodic Planar Curves. I don't understand why only a few are messed up, and i don't have the hole in those triangle panels???

I am grateful to anyone's help. Thanks

Well,

Initially I suspected that there's some  profile orientation issue (but as you can see inside the script, there's none). It's only a matter of "proper input order" (not as simple as it appears).

However if you place a new Loft and connect profiles "in order" the loft works. It's obvious where the issue is (I mean : what exactly is the order of sampling your initial profiles?).

Compare with the original Loft attempt (profiles are rather "scrambled" - the "group" thing it could be "smarter" ? what if I connect profiles in the wrong order???)

get back the script as well

That said, I have a zillion similar issues (as I said: in general > proper order of input data)

best, Peter

On the other hand why some profile combos worked OK? That's the 1M question

thank Peter for your explanation. I appreciate it

I found a new solution. I break up the "initial" loft in 2. because the middle part it's gonna be a glass panel, so i don't need suf. there.

Hmm...you still need more than 3 profiles (per side) in order to control  the transition smoothness (kinda a tangency continuity, so to speak) between the plastic (I suspect) frames and the glass panel...a thing that brings us again the issue of  "proper" order of input for that Loft component (per side).
