CELLULAR AUTOMATA IN ARCHITECTURE.

hi to all. I am very interested in the application of cellular automata in architecture, I have already given a look at the site of morphcode but I wanted to understand more about how to work the process of cellular automata and apply them in architectural research. I do not know yet which way, so I'm looking for any resources available as a pdf books ... and so on about this that explain clearly and not too complex this topic.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

well, we are running a research project here about energy optimized buildings by help of CA form generation of the building envelope. maybe you try to contact mahmoud hayati, who is my research officer on this topic.
