algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I am using [Sub]Code's definition to populate a surface with hexagonal curves and I need help getting from the curves shown in the first attached image to the extruded form shown in the second image. I can get the curves on the surface, but then I need to offset them and extrude. Any help would be appreciated.

The definition, from [Sub]Code, can be found here: http://www.box.net/shared/ektf46sok9

Anybody?

offset curve works in a plane.. so you're going to have problems trying that in non planar hexagonal cells.

quick solution: offset the original surface, create the same hexagonal pattern and loft between curves, then try to give them thickness (maybe wb plugin).

another solution using your curves is the sweep with 1 rail with a rectangular section. You probably need to use orient component to place every section on every polyline (hexagonal cell).
