algorithmic modeling for Rhino
hi,
i am new to using grasshopper and i have some questions about grasshopper and i was wondering if you might know:
i created a plane and i used "edges" to extract the curves from the plane. then i use "curves" to view the curves I extracted but it selects all the curves. is there a way to only select one of the edge curves?
in addition, i divided up the curves to get points on those curves. my intention is to offset the points on one side and connect with points on the opposite side and create diagonals in between, do you know how I can offset the points?
here's what i have right now:
here's a diagram of what i want to do:

Hi Chris,
thank you, that works very well! I am trying to understand this better so I was wondering what does the reverse button do?
thanks!
'reverse' reverses the order of the items in a list
e.g. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 would become 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
If you undo the reverse you'll see that the lines cross each other. Reversing one of the lists sequences the points in the same direction.
Chris
