Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Jon,

Thanks for sharing yor GGym Plug-in!

I am trying to implement your Watercube Tesselation on some lofted Surfs...

As you can see, I do not get  sdrCellFillet implemented on all Crvs.

Is it because of Filleting radius or ?

And if you find some time, to explain how can I export this structure into ArchiCad! As roof element I supouse..

Thanks a lot

Igor

Hi Igor,

Nice work, and a nice test case.  Some of the cells were missing if the cell curve was not closed, I decided to make my algorithm close the cell if this is the case.  Others were failing some of the geometry calculation, I've revised it in the latest build of StructDrawRhino, http://www.geometrygym.com/downloads

I've also included how I would export this geometry to IFC (I don't have access to Archicad to test, but you can see it viewed in Solibri).

Cheers,

Jon

Jon,

i did not find a time to thank you... My deadline is aproaching ;)

i can't tell you how much i appreciate your help. I was like spending all night to find a way for closing a curves..

I attach a pic from part of my project with help of of your GGym.

Only I trimmed manualy crvs with loft surfs to get holes, and with ggInflate Mesh I made a pressure to 20 , to get this Watercube like ETFE Cladding System.

Only ssiIFCEA(Extruded Area Solid) is not working for me properly. Always gets red. I tried on simle planar crvs also , to extrude it but nothing...

Great work!

hello!

for me it doesnt work with the update...

i used your definition and the new StructDrawRhino for grasshopper...

please help!

thanks max

Can you please post your gh definition so i can look at this?

Also, type in rhino command sdrVersion and post what it says.

Thanks,

Jon

hey!

are there some news about the problem?

thanks max

Hi MadMax,

Sorry, it's been a hectic week and I missed your reply.  Thanks for the test model, I can see it's failing so I'll hopefully fix tomorrow when I get to the bottom of what is causing the failure.

Cheers,  Jon
