Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

So, I was working on through the Generative Algorithms PDF that was written by Zubin Khabazi on the GH website and got to the section on Responsive Modulation (6_4, pg 116) and ran into a problem. I was able to follow the definition, but when I got to the end I plugged in the Dispatch component into the two Morph components and only one worked. I noticed that my values going out of the Dispatch were only true when they should have been true and false based on the angle of the vector (or sun). I am not sure if it is the way I converted the F(x) component into degrees or if I am missing another mistake completely. If anyone has any input it would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hi Nathan, does replacing the F(x)1 component with Smaller Than or Larger Than component help (Math tab)? Maybe I should ask what the function is you typed in for the F(x)1 ..?

i think that formula its wrong... with deg(x) you convert to degrees.. you dont need to convert it again with *180/pi, so you can erase that part..

Actually now there is a component Degrees to convert radians to degrees so you can delete that formula component or a more elegant way its to use directly x° in the second formula component.
