algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I recently downloaded the 0.8.0051 build of grasshopper and I am having a slight issue. The components all work fine but the identifying text that displays what the component is, as well as what inputs and outputs are needed/created, is not showing up. I have updated windows, rhino, and reinstalled rhino and grasshopper several times. The issue is occurring on both my laptop and desktop, and both Rhino 4 and the Rhino 5 WIP.
I have attached a screen capture to clarify the problem.

Hi Mike,
whew... severe. I use the Windows Standard Caption font to draw that text, because I figured that was the safest bet. Can you please run the attached file and show me the message box that pops up? It should list whatever fonts are currently loaded in Grasshopper.

Also, can you try Scribbles and Panels? Do they have visible text? You can pick your own Font for both Panels and Scribbles, so if they don't work by default you could try some other fonts that you know for a fact work elsewhere.

It's amusing that your pop-up dialogue doesn't have a visible font in the title bar either..
Perhaps it's your windows appearance setting/theme in play?
Yes, that's my guess. Somehow Windows is very confused as to what font to use for window title bars. I use the same font (it's called the 'caption font' in programming) so it doesn't seem to be working anywhere.
