Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

David

Often, I need to quickly see the data tree structure to know/predict the behavior of the next downstream component. We already have the data as a list when we mouse over the output. How about Ctrl+Alt+Mouse-over to get a quick view of the data structure?

Double click the component and see if this is to your liking.

Yes... sorry.... mind block.

I meant to say Param Viewer instead of component

I find the best way to get this quickly is to double click the canvas type "para" hit enter then double click the param viewer. et violá (I know wrong accent)
Yes why not using the param viewer (double click)?
I second this request.

Data tree structures and their awareness are key to working in GH. I agree that there should be a simple and straightforward method of checking the structure. Adding a Param Viewer for this and deleting it repeatedly (or moving the same one around) is cumbersome and it would be great if an alternative can be found.
I third this request. I usually have both a Param Viewer and an enlarged Panel floating around constantly. And I'll usually have both connected to the same output.
maybe i was unclear. below shows what i'm requesting to happen on the mouse-over.
