algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I did not know if this is the right place for posting a bug related to the forum itself not the Grasshopper plugin. But never mind.
I posted a reply today. But after couple of minutes, it disappears like I posted an empty reply. I deleted the whole reply, then added the new one. Again, it is there for a couple of minutes, then after that it disappears.
This is the link to the reply (the last one on the page):
http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/applying-multple-lines-to...
I tried using different Internet browsers, and got the same results.
Why is this happening?
Here is the screenshot I took when reply was still visible (1.jpg)
And after it became invisible (2.jpg)

The same happened to me when I added a picture to My Photos. Only one time though.
At first I thought it was some some administrator or automatic filter not liking it.
Mmmh I spotted the word "Line" 2 times in your post, you must be cursed with the LINE Club
I did not understand you?
What is a LINE club?
It was only a bad joke, LINE was the first guy banned from GH forums (see here), so I thought using the word 'line' too much could be like calling some cursed soul's name and would cause problems. Not very funny actually.
(but remember, do NOT talk about LINE club!).
:)
It`s not a bad joke, it`s brilliant one! :D
Sorry for not getting it in the beginning.
I will try not to post the L_I_N_E word anymore, as it seems, it brings some bad luck :)
You may want to clear your browser cache. It may be related. (Clear cache instructions)
I see you are using Firefox. Did they have an update lately? We have rarely experienced periodic update lags in on Ning lately, up to 10 minutes. But they do not seem to last long.
Thank you for the tip Scott.
Yes, I am using the latest Firefox 6.0.2. And I did update it, couple of days ago. I can not recall if it was before, or after creating this new discussion.
I do not want to clear my cache, as it will delete a lot of cookies, and I may need to log in to some forums, again manually. I do not know all the passwords for those logins.
But I tried to use different Internet browser: Internet Explorer 8.0.6. And I am getting the same results as with Firefox.
Nevermind, I solved the problem, by adding a new reply, the same one like the one before, in that discussion. And for some reason, it worked. Tako a look at the attached file:
l am editing this reply after recheck:
I think there is a problem with the picture upload. Tried several times now on different machines with different browsers:
Uploaded a picture.
Picture is not shown in the sidebar, but shows up , when I click view all.
Once I sign out the picture is gone.
Signed in picture appears again.
also tryed methods Scott suggested already.
Is there anything else I can try? Do pictures need to be approved?
Thanks,
Phillip
I have noticed in the past that when you are not signed in as a member it takes about 30 minutes for new activity to become available to you.
