Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I'm a new member of this community, and a beginner user of GH.

I'm preparing my college design thesys on a Waerie&Phelan Theory.

so, i'm preparing some structures and i would obtain from these solids (Attached1)

a structure like the pictures of the other attached files (2-3)

can somebody help me please?

thanks a lot

are the pictures (stamp2-stamp3) of you?

no they are some pics reached on the web for explain what is my goal!

Something like this ?

Yeah, a thing like that for begin it's very nice!

But then i would obtain a thing like "bone' structure"...uhm..I don't know if I can explain myself sorry!

But, for now can you explain me that cluster?...I see components that I never saw in GH...wow

Brep Explode -> Edges -> Join Curves -> Offset (with Planar) -> Fillet -> Surface Split -> Item(0)

So: getting the faces, and for each face : getting the edges , joining edges for a closed curve, offset the edge curve inward, fillet it, cut the face with it, keep the interesting part.

thanks a lot..I'll try tomorrow in the mornin'...

and I'll keep you informed...

really thanks to everyone!

P.s for a 3d frame?...like a bone structure?

hi systemig,

do you know a way to create points inside the bone structure, with grasshopper?

is it possible to create particle/points inside the shape?

I guess you want to voronoize it ?

Random points in the bounding box should work, if not, lots of random points and cull those not inside.

do you have an example for this issue?
I made this with the culling method.

COOL!
i hope that i understand your definition.

thanks a lot.

SYSTEMIQ you are the best! (:
