algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi Nate,
It's not .NET that you need to up date its the Runtimes. Make sure you download the 2005 32-bit version (file ends with _x86) see link below in the bold text.
Version 0.8.0051 is now available for download from the usual location.
Note that you need the most recent Microsoft Runtimes to be able to load Grasshopper in Rhino4. You can download the latest runtimes from the Microsoft Website, and be sure to get the 32-bit ones (vcredist_x86.EXE).
This release mainly features bug fixes and small tune-ups. The only major addition is a second solver for Galapagos, modelled on the Simulated Annealing stochastics/meta-heuristics approach.
Hi Danny,
I have the same problem and i tried to update runtime.net 2005 32bit version as you have said, but my computer is 64 bit so it does not let me to install. So the problem still exists in my situation. And ı don't know what to do.
EDIT : OK PROBLEM SOLVED [VREDISTX86 was the 32 bit one, if you have the same situation select the x86 one to install]
Do you have .NET 3.5 installed?
The latest GH version requires .NET 4.0 which is ensured by the installation of Rhino5. But I see you're running 0.9.0014, probably on Rhino4. If that's the case you have to install the correct .NET runtimes yourself.
