algorithmic modeling for Rhino
hi,
i've been using Dedackelzuchts definition to convert a mesh in a surface.
i want to project a couple of points on the surface.
now, the points are multiplied. is probably due to the subdivision of the surface.
is it possible to avoid this, when i work with srfMorph?
i don't want to increase the number of points.
thanks

Hey RWNB,
I do not get it! You got 19 Pt you morph onto 168 Srf! And you get each Srf with 19 Pt! so 3912 Pts! But you want to keep 19? Sorry my head is maybe not uptodate to day! But what are you up to?
Best Regards

hi dedacke,
i want to projected the 19 points on the surface.
but i will still have 19 points.
is this a difficult task with srfmorphe. (:
do you know any other possibility?
thanks
hi dedackel,
i have another question to you.
i try to project a voronoi pattern on the surface.
for this, i used a def. by atsuo n.
unfortunately, this does not work, because of my initial surface.
can you help me one more time?
ich werde wüschig! ):
many thanks
Looks great! And of course I will try my best to stop you getting wüschig :-)
I have a meeting now, so it will take some time.
best regards

ok,
so I got two Versions.
Version 1: I have created a new voronoi, please replace this one with a geometry you like. The ides behind this version is to create the voronoi already with the initial Surface edges. Mapping this is easier then a rectengular boundery.
Version 2: Have a look at it. its hard to get the mapped Curves closed. But works too.
version 1 I think is the way to go, the solution is easier to control.
Maybe someone has got a better idea.
Best Regards

cool!
picture looks already great! :-)
