Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I am trying to loft between rectangles obtained from a random reduced list and their counterpart which is the reduced list oriented and scaled on a different face.

I am getting a loft error that even grasshopper doesn't know why.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

quick guess, (without knowing your desired output), might be to put a graft component after the scale NU and after random reduce component.  Then feed those into the loft.

what I'm trying to do is create a matrix of smaller rectangles (random reduced list) representing windows on a building's facade. The orient and scale component are used to transfer these openings to a viewing plane. By lofting between these, I am generating view cones that are used to cut through a building contained within the loft path.

Both your answers seem to be getting me somewhere.  Thanks for your quick answer!

Hi Nick, I created polylines from your rectangles:
