Import Spreadsheet in Rhino 5?

Hi,

I'm having issues importing data from .xls or .ods files, the runtime error cites that it cannot find the file.

Is it because I'm running Rhino 5?

Open office calc installed (that's enough right? no need for the other softs?) and excel and both checked out. (app check read out = true)

I have a similar problem, I tried the solution with Rhino 4sr9 and Rhino 5 (64bit), with the first works fine but the second doesn't work and gives me an error

Yes, it looks to be an issue with how this was compiled which makes it fail in Rhino 5...let me look into it and get back to you. Thank you for reporting.

Quick update on this, we have completely reworked the spreadsheet components to improve performance and reduce dependencies on other libraries. I want to make sure they are tightened before releasing. Look for an update mid September...
