algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hello..
If i have a grid of points, lets say 100x100, How can I divide this grid into 3 zones, and be able to change boundaries of these zones and number of points inside them? Can the boundaries overlap?
Thank you

Hi Zayad,

can you draw a picture of the kind of boundaries you're looking for? I think you can use a Voronoi diagram and Galapagos to group adjacent points of specific counts, but the result might not at all be what you need.

Just to show what the heck I was talking about, the attached file shows how to use Galapagos to evolve a subdivision of space to match a specific set of point-counts.

Thanks David. What I am trying to achieve is similar to Voronoi division to a surface, or may be with curves as division boundaries. Each region has certain number of points and I can change the boundaries of the division and number of points inside it.

I am still not sure how to achieve that with Galapogos. How to translate the outcome of the definition you sent me to points inside each boundary, so that I can adjust the Voronoi divisions and be able to change the density of the points inside each region.
