algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi!
I'm workin on a new definition that makes voronoi distortion in a rectangular grid.
But i found some problems.
THE FIRST is that i really don't know why  if i move the attractor the voronoi distortion has different strength.
I mean that the more i move the attractor on y axis, the less it affect my rectangular grid( see the pictures attched).
THE SECOND :i scaled voronoi curves to loft them with the original one, to obtain surfaces with holes.But when i connect curves to loft component, my notebook explode!:) this is strange beacuse it's not a heavy operation!(take a look at the definition).
Do you know how to solve these problems?
If you have any suggestion to make the definition cleaner....you are welcome!!

Not have been able to complete it!For 3d voronoi you need a script(you can easy find it on the net)and use LAN shelling def to give thickness.But the problem was that i had not been able to manage the data output of the script...for using it with 2d gh voronoi component!

Probably too complex exercise for my skills.:)

hi Paolo, I've created a workaround for your loft. It still is a heavy calculation (about 100 cells take 20 seconds to calculate on my pc). Sorry, I missed your question before.

Awesome. How do you deal with multiple attractors?
I use Closest Point. Working on it, hopefully I'll get a chance to get back to you this week.

sorry for not answering you, but i have been busy with my last exams!

Anyway here it is (the definition).It is quite old, so sorry for mistakes you will propably find inside.

Pieter nice work!How didi you make this gif?is it a screen capture o is it compsed by different images?You obtained a honeycomb from voronoi with a cull pattern(true/false) of the list of points of the grid?isn't it?

Hi Paolo, the gif is made from 97 images which were made animating a slider. The points are from a hexagrid (obviously~), the ones within a certain (distance, using Pull) range from the attractors are moved by random amounts in a random direction. The animated slider was the amount of deviation from the original points. And yes, I used culled lists.
B.t.w. did you find my workaround for your loft? Did your notebook explode? ;)
