algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi all,
All the sudden my GH version reports this error when loading:
An exception occured during GHA assembly loading:
Path C:\...\script.gha
Exception.system.argumentexception:
Message: an entry with the same key already exists
And it reports it for all gha in the component folder.
There is only one 'Grasshopper' folder in the plug-ins folder.
I'm on Rhino SR9, GH 8.0010
I keep older version of GH in the plug-ins folder as well but the read 'Grasshopper 8.0008' and so on.
I tried a complete uninstall of GH and all other plug ins via control panel and installed GH fresh. But still returns the same error.
Any idea how to do a clean uninstall of GH?

GH loads even with all these errors and kind of works. I just saw all these errors when a file created by my colleague repeatedly froze in a Galapagos calculation.

... and up...
Am I the only one who came across this kind of error messages?
Any ideas?
Thx
Peter
Hi Peter,
sorry, missed this one. In what sort of window is the message displayed?

Hi David,
all these messages come up in the Rhino command line and it lists each .gha which sits in the components folder.
As said before I tried to uninstall GH and all its plug ins. But that didn't change anything. I haven's tried a Rhino uninstall yet.

"I haven's tried a Rhino uninstall yet."
That most likely won't help, I'll try and find where these errors are coming from and what could be causing them.

I actually just rewrote that part of the error messaging so I can't find exactly where this would have happened. I do however have a suggestion:
1) Start Rhino
2) Run the _GrasshopperDeveloperSettings command
3) Either check or uncheck the option that reads "Memory load blah blah blah".
4) Run the Grasshopper command
Is there any difference in loading this time?

Hi David,
Thanks for your support. I ran the _GrasshopperDeveloperSettings and unticked the box. However the error messages are still the same.
Best,
Peter
