Are you sure you have the Shaded preview option on? (it's on the canvas toolbar)

Ah, yeah, i did have the shaded mode selected.

And also tried the other ones, but they didn't effect this problem.


So what can i do?

Have you tried baking the geometry? I've found that sometimes even in shaded mode Breps will display as lines but bake just fine.
