Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

A new version of Hoopsnake (0.5.5) is available on my website

Changes:

- Output of number of iterations when in loop mode (I).

- Option to append new input to already stored (Use carefully!).

- Global loop limit based on data length size. Useful to avoid your computer freezing if you're not sure about something in your loop. Disable by entering anything <1 (0, -1 etc.)

- Settings are now saved when saving the definition (not data though)

-Interface imporovements, new icons partially derived from The Noun Project

-One extra example, demonstrating simple 1-D box subdivision.

Old version will still be available for some time till the new one's proper function is verified.

Just an observation: If you get an IO error when opening some of the examples or your existing files, fear not ;'). It's just because some extra data needed by the new version are missing in the archive. Saving the definition again should take care of the problem.

The new update is very nice.

I notice that 5.5 the index output does not increment when running a single step.  Once you set it to loop the index output starts to update.

Yes, this was initially a design choice but I eventually realized it made no sense...so in the next release I will change the output to increment always and add an option to reset or not when changing from step to looping mode.
