Kangaroo and Galapagos not showing in GH

If you have the build of Kangaroo from Food4Rhino, and it is unblocked and you have the latest grasshopper, this might be caused by conflicting previous installations of Kangaroo. Try making sure you have only one kangaroo .gha (in the special components folder you get to from the grasshopper menu, and nowhere else - such as C:\Program Files\Rhinoceros 4.0\Plug-ins\Grasshopper\Components as it might have been in before).

Galapagos shows up in the GH Special Menu but I can't find Kangaroo anywhere.  I upgraded  to GH0.8.0010.  I previously mis-referenced my Rhino version.  It's sr8 not 9.

I was referring not to the 'Special' Tab under parameters, but the 'Special Folders' from the File menu. The components folder there will typically be something like:

C:\Users\Daniel\AppData\Roaming\Grasshopper\Libraries

and that's where kangaroo should now live, not in with the standard gh components inside your rhino dir.

Also, I have a newer gha file named "kangaroo-physics-0-0-5.gha" downloaded from food4rhino, Daniel will comment but I don't think 0-0-4-4 (as shown in your screen capture) is compatible with latest grasshopper and is probably why it is not loading.
