grasshopper assemblies failing to load

You still have some plug-ins loading. I can see GeomGym, Weaverbird and Kangaroo. Did you remove the folder in c:\users\<acoffman>\Appdata\Roaming\ for Grasshopper?

Hi Aaron,

I think there is more than one copy of the gha that is trying to load.

Could you use the _GrasshopperDeveloperSettings command in Rhino and check all the folders that are listed there?

You should always only have one version of each add-on.

i used the grasshopperdevelopersettings and got two locations:

C:\Program Files (x86)\WeaverBird\CommonBeak\

C:\Program Files (x86)\Rhinoceros 4.0\Plug-ins\SSI\

 

and two others that were grayed out.

 

and now i get this error when trying to divide a surface?  not sure whats going on.

Hi again Aaron,

it's probably due to the fact that there are gha's from older versions of Grasshopper.

Go to the two grayed out locations, and check that there are no component files listed twice:

- in \Program Files\Rhinoceros 4.0\Plug-ins\Grasshopper\Components there should be: Curve, Galapagos, GalapagosComponents, LegacyScript, Mathematics, Script, Surface, Transform, Triangulation, Vector. Do not remove these.

- in \Users\*yourName*\AppData\Roaming\Grasshopper\Libraries there can be some other assemblies but there should not be copies of the previous ones (there should never be copies in general)

Could you check that?
