algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello everyone,

I run often in some Problems with the analyisis of the outside space.

It often makes an invisible Space where the soundwaves bounces of from even tho that Space doesnt exist in the Modell.

Could anyone help?

Sorry for the WeTransfer Link but somehow the Modell is to Big

Hi Max,

Sorry for the delay.

I won't support the use of this technique for particle animations. First off, the fellow who made the youtube video did not consult me, and as a result, he made some errors that I've been trying to explain to people for years... because of him, I've actually had people accuse me of not using an omnidirectional source... I can safely say it has done the project harm.

I will point you do the official way to do particle animations, and suggest you try it there. Type Pachyderm_Animation, and use the interface that pops up. I would be happy to support that. By the way, the smartparticles actually do nearest neighbor sortings and share energy, which allows you to see focusing of sound very easily. Try it. I'm sure you'll love it.

I'm not sure how well it will work for an outdoor space, but I can tell you that Pachyderm does not make a bounding volume that will reflect sound ever. The user is entirely responsible for any reflective volumes.
