trying to out to excel

I'm getting the error string seen in the attached photo. I have tried different locations on my computer, with the excel file open and closed, in xls and xlsx formats. What am I doing wrong?

No, I'm using Excel - I thought the current version works with it. I'm wondering if the problem I'm encountering is the same one I'm having with other excel output components - I'm running Rhino 5....

the spreadsheet components use open office sdk to read and write xls xlsx and ods files. You should install it prior to using. If you do not have it installed, the spreadsheet components will not work.

After a bit of testing. I found that the Excel out (and in) only works with Rhino 4. Maybe its only a temporary issue or only in specific configs in R5, but running gHowl in R4 works flawlessly.
