multiple lines [based on start and end points] from two point streams that look at the correponding point in sequence of the other stream

hey does anyone know how to force a line to create multiple lines from two streams of data based on the extra cross product only ie use parallel points on two streams to make multiple lines?

I can get the correct lines as part as a cross product [but then dont know how to retrieve them]- they are all parallel though .....

or if i do shortest it just creates 32 lines woth the SAME start point and 32 diff end points ...........

Is there a piece of script to force the line command to pick up a new start point for each time it draws a new line?
I don't get it, can you post an image of what you want to achieve?

I mananged to sort this one by just flattening the two data streams and it worked perfect!
hey, could you post your outcome by any chance. i'm going through what i think may be a similar issue and can't resolve it...

cheers.
hey, bit busy at moment to dig out that file [off on final year field trip tomorrow].

But the answer was to check the data was on corresponding levels [in terms of branching]. Therefore i solved it by flattening both sets and then using the line function [thinking on it maybe flatten and then graft so everything in on 0:1, 0:2 etc] then grashopper can see the pairs of points.
