algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Has anyone had problems closing offset curves? I attached a simple example showing the problem.

I am trying to close the offset curves and create a surface with the two. The offset curve is not closed so the two curves combined wont make a surface. My definition works great on a flat plane but when applied to a curved surface it has some issues.

You cannot input a 3pt plane and a 4pt surface into the offset component. Also, the surfaces must be triangular to get planar surfaces to follow the input surface's curvature. Your square must be split into two triangular planar surfaces each with its own offset and input 3pt plane.
If you look at the image 5.jpg you can see an example where the 3pt plane and 4pt surface works just fine with the offset component but there seems to be some sort of bug or something because when you use the previous offset from an earlier version shown at the bottom it closes the surface, but when you use the new offset shown at the top it doesn't work. Thanks for the post.
