algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello everybody, I try to project points from one form to another. However, I do not succeed ...
Here is an example of how the points should be arranged.
Curve closest point unfortunately isn't the right option at all...
I hope you can help me.

You have to find the direction you want to project each point - which with a rectangle is inwards if the shape you're projecting to is inside.
So what's the rule for each point? How do you know which edge of the rectangle you want it to project to?
Sorry for the bad explanation of the problem. I tried to explain it better in the following screenshot (02).
The rule should be something like this:
Divide each curve of the upper shape(02) by distance or length. Check which curves are closest to a curve of a rectangle and then divide the selected side of the rectangle into the same number of points.
So that in the ende something like in 03 will not happen.
