algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Sorry in advance because probably my problem is common. but i really don't find the right way..
in attachment the file. I need to make a trangles grid on this surface (patch surface). Best would be equal trangles, or few families, or even better equal triangles with equal side lenght. I tried louchbox but the paneling tools do not reconize the patch as a trimmed surface. I know that a patch is just an "hiding" of the trimmed parts but how to solve this problem? It would be great to have the right definition file.
Thank to all for kind cooperation.

Here is a way to make very uniform triangles on an initial triangulated mesh made from a surface. First you use Rhino/Grasshopper mesh settings to obtain a relatively even quad mesh that you triangulate. Then you use my port of OpenFlipper to convert that to a wonderfully uniform triangular mesh:

you could generate a grid of points on the surface and input them into deluanary mesh, this will give you triangulation -- the trick i use often to rescue or rebuild trimmed panels /surfaces back into untrimmed surfaces is to use wbmeshedges, make boundary surfaces, or cull the nth line and do a loft or an edge surface. if you need an untrimmed surface, instead of patch, split the patch curve in half and loft with a rebuild and straight sections......
