algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hey, so having a weird problem. I have a gradient mapper inside a cluster. I double clicked to enter the colour values, but now it won't let me exit out of it. It's not frozen I can still move the sliders and adjust values, it just won't go away when I click okay, cancel or exit.
I have about an hours worth of unsaved work behind it, and from the looks of things, grasshopper hasn't been autosaving since I've been working in the cluster.
any suggestion would be really really really appreciated.

I'm not sure what you can do. The editor is modal so will very effectively block any access to the rest of the application.
I tried here (double click a cluster which is inside a cluster while editing) but I can close the window as expected. I'm looking at the code now to see if there's anything that might explain this somehow, but I wouldn't hold my breath... Sorry.
Nope, there is no code that runs at all on close/exit that could be interfering with it. I have no idea how what you're seeing is possible, though I'd love to know if you can repeat it somehow.
What versions of Rhino/Grasshopper/Windows are you running?
Hey David,
Sorry, I think I gave up without checking. I forced closed rhino, and as I was doing so it gave me the option to save, so no work lost.
Also as I did close, I saw there was a message box behind the rhino interface which I'm assuming was why nothing was working, everything would have been locked til I responded. It was 2am so I didn't actually take in what the message was requesting. I'm not sure why it wound up behind all the other interfaces, but these are school computers, so they're not the most maintained machines, there's probably a few programs that need updating.
Shame you didn't see the message. Would have been good to know if it was our software that decided to put up a modal message behind other windows. I wonder if you could have gotten to it by alt+tabbing... Of well, maybe we'll never find out.
Welcome to
Grasshopper
