algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello all,

I am trying to evaluate smaller curves based on the distance of the bigger curve: For example I need the bigger curve to be divided every 200 meters, and this value to be remapped to the domains of the other curves. I tried it, but when I evaluate the curves, the distance does not seem right. (Ex, curves similar in length to the bigger one should have around 150-200m between the points, but as it can be seen in the image its much smaller).

Because you reparam the curves (now they all equal 0 to 1 no matter the actual length) then you use t values (param on curve) so each curve will be divided the same proportionally based on those t values.

Hi Michael, if I don't reparam the curves, some points will fall outside the shorter curves. I need the same amount of points in each curve. What could be a workaround to this?

'ReMap'!

Hey Joseph, I am not with my pc right now, but the image suggests the distance between the remapped points in the divided curve (longest curve) are no longer with 200m spacing. This distance in this curve needs to be maintained.

Also to clarify, the excess created by the divide length is not a problem. (Dont know if you purposely solved that or not).

Ah, so...  Forget 'ReMap', 'Crv CP' to the rescue!

Hahah great! That was it, thank you Joseph.
