Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi, I was looking to deform  a Planar curve/polyline to make it "noisy". Much like the noise bump you can apply to a surface on many 3dsoftwares. I´m stuck on overly complicated definitions and was guessing is there was any plugin or shortcut to do it.

For a single curve is easier but when i have a field of lines it gets troublesome due to patterns being recognizable ,etc. thank you!

Hi.

Are you looking for something like this?

You can probably doing this with native GH components but, surely there is more efficient way of using some plug-ins like Heteroptera's "Curve Emitter".

Or You can apply perlin or simplex noise using "4D Noise".

that is exactly what I was aiming for. Thank you very much, very elegant solution!

Hi Hyungsoo, Newbie here...having trouble reading the icons to reconstruct...I know its simple but do you have the .gh for it?

Thanks

You will need Heteroptera plug in for this.

Attached is a working version of the above script.
