Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I have a problem with lofting polygons along edges in wireframes. Often it seems like polygon was lofted twice, but second rotated by 180 deg (see picture example). I also add example in grasshopper, it is with voronoi, nevertheless it happens to any other mesh. I tried to use Tolopogizer with no effect. Anyone knows how to overcome it?

Adjacent Voronoi cells do not share edge curves, even though they appear that way.  So you are getting multiple 'Loft' results because there are really multiple edge curves that have end points in common.

Here is an effort to remove the duplicate edge curves by using a set to find their unique mid-points:

Thanks a lot! However Topologizer should be able to remove double curves anyway and I'm wondering why it didn't work for me.

I wouldn't know - unless you didn't 'Flatten' the list of edges you gave it?

Seems with sets you remove some that shouldn't remove. There is a native cull duplicates component that gives index.

Excellent!  Must right-click 'CullPt' and set 'Leave One'.  I wonder why the different results?

Thanks.

Thank you for response! I also found out why topologizer didn't work for me. It removes close vertices to clean wireframe, but not doubled edges from the same vertices.
