algorithmic modeling for Rhino

double grid shell

so i've manged to offset the curves to the offsetted surface. then geodesic curves work but also adds extra curves which don't match the original offset??

also Ive being trying to add a pin/rod which runs between the 2 geometry, so i can then create a hole for the pin to go through? 

i can get a pipe though the intersecting points, but it doesn't work on all of the intersections,

please help someone

You GH file doesn't contain Input curves, internalise them and upload again

i just internalised all the geometry, don't have a lot of practice with internalising data, so i hope it works

Why do you want to offset the curves? I don't get it. Is that what you want to achieve?

we basically want retractable lattice, in a cylindrical/mushroom shape. 

so it can be packed away easily
