deforming circles

I was wondering if I have two curves with catenaries suspended from them..if I would be able to move one endpoint of the catenaries and the  others would follow, deforming the circle?

What circle? Can you post a drawing or sketch?

So when one point is manipulated..the rest will follow, although not uniformly..
