Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all,

i have been using this plugin, urban network analysis toolbox, for rhino to create and analyse connectivity of nodes to given origins and stuff. the end results in coloured points like rhino display colour but i cant export it to illustrator because it does not take points as objects, hence, i cannot print it.

is there a way in grasshopper to extract these coloured information from these points and map it to small surfaces drawn around these points such that i can export the coloured surfaces to illustrator?

wow okay thanks so much, i will give it a shot.

hi and if i am not wrong i would have to use a component bake attributes to bake it to layers in rhino and export to illustrator? but could i ask where i could access these bake attributes

Metahopper has among others a bake with attributes component

The Human bake component should suffice for this purpose :)

totally missed human bake. but metahopper is awesome, so down the road the OP is going to use it anyway. :-)

thanks alot for your help! i hope this is not too basic a question, sorry i am really new at this, i connected up the bake component and the geometry from the surfaces components. for attributes which do i need to connect? because its giving me an error saying the data tress dont line up
