i have a list of polylines and arcs (result of the explode-component in the attached file) and want to split the list into a polyline-list and an arc list. anybody know an easy way to do so?

hello raul,

thanks for the quick respone and yes it works.

i was hoping for a solution comprehensible for non-coders. something like an analysis tool that outputs curve degree to sort the list would be nice ...

btw.: how could i get the remaining polylines as a list?

Hello roberto,

in my example, the polylines are stored in B output of the component. You may post your internalized curves so i can take a closer look.

thanks for your help. the definition attached to my original post contains the input curve, but the separation wont work on it.

there isnt any attachement in your first post... However it isnt visible for me.

You can also use TT Toolbox or other plug ins to filter by type

thanks again

found the curve type component in TT toolbox which outputs the type as list, but cant figure out how to use it to filter. sorry to sound dumb here.

yep, thats why im using code

found this simple solution to sort the list, but still cant figure out how to split it ...

well, then take this solution...
