how to draw a curve that starts flat and progressively raises in amplitude?

Hello everybody,

First post here, so maybe a very newbie question:

How could I draw this figure with GH?

The idea is to make a sequence of these, as in:

I started with a range on the X of a point element, then I put a random with a controlled domain on the Z but that's all. I think I should put a function somewhere, to organize and sort these values, but I have no idea of what to put and where.

I don't need it to be a perfect mathematical function, I only want a curve that starts flat and progressively raises and waves on the Z axis.

Attached is the simplest ghx ever.

Thanks a lot,

LUCAS

The attached is one way. No Expressions required.

Thanks David, nice solution. I'm still getting acquainted with the graph mapper, trying to control it properly. I'll get back later to tell you if I succeed.
