Is it possible to trim or split surfaces?

Hi everyone,

I guess the header says it all? Does anyone know a way how to split or trim a surface?

this is a VB component which has been previously posted which I have been using to split surfaces.

HI Jeff,
thanks for posting this, however it is not working for me. I created surface defined by 4 points and tried open curve overlaping the surface and enclosed curve too... I use both grasshopper and generative components and in this specific case GH is really pain. I love GH but this is example when it discourage people from working in it. would you please post working example with both GH and Rhino file? Do I need to install some Visual Basic software? I tried some other VB script and it works, so I dont think it is due to missing sofware. Thanks a million. Martin
