algorithmic modeling for Rhino

brep subtraction isn't going right

hi guys um still beginner in grasshopper so i have 2 extruded surfaces and trying to subtract them but its not subtracting in right way i tried also to maximize the intersection by extruding the surface which will be subtracted in both ways but it didn't work either

thank you very much it worked perfectly. do you have any idea why my way didn't work ?

do you have any explanation why the definition is so heavy and takes time to calculate is it something i done wrong or its just grasshopper

In my opinion, this way is one of more lighter solutions. Check attached.
