algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Guys

I have a problem with the derivative component so the velocity vector at the specific parameter is not perpendicular with the acceleration vector.
So whats wrong with my algorithm ?
Thanks a lot.

There is no reason why the first and second derivatives would be perpendicular to each other. If the parameter 'speed' of the curve is constant then yes, but it probably isn't.

The tangency and curvature direction will be perpendicular, but they are not quite the same as the first and second derivative. I think it's easiest if you just get the tangency and curvature vectors instead.

Great !! I didn't know about those two components.

Thanks a lot.
