Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi, I have a hex grid that want to deform the cells
in proportional way to fit it in a boundary curve.

I try with the SurfaceMorph but dont give me nothing.

I don want to do a crop, i want to deform every cell.

It is the right aproach ?

Here is what i want, but do it with triangles,

i want to fit hexagons.

Hello,

here is a solution which cut a curve in 4 curves, these curves are used to make a surface (with 4 sides; like a rectangle). I use uv position on this surface to map your polygon or whaterver curve you want. You can select the beginning of the cut of the curve with a slider. And then the espacement between cuts. I ude slider from Genepool, but there is another solution with graph mapper.

Here a more general script with point deform. So it is not limited to polylines.
