Using the Image Sampler

I was Trying to use the image sampler to map differences in brightness. I don't want to use circles because squares look so much better. I have somewhat a grasshopper file that is getting close to what i want but haven't been able to crack open this definition. Please help me with this. first picture is what i have and second picture is what i really want, which i drew in rhino. drawing it out will take too much time and this would be my final try. ill post the picture and my grasshopper definition below,

Hi.

Yes its very close now i just want six iterations to show. 3 with black and 3 clear like in the example i made by hand. How can i do this?

If you can understand the logic of the definition, then it's not difficult to develope an application of it.

I'm sadly new to Grasshopper and don't have any guidance. Self teaching isn't very easy but i think i understand what you did. Thank you for the help and i hope someday i get ot repay you for your help. Once i learn all commands and what they do i'm sure i'll become better at it.
