Hexagon mesh extrusion is twisting, how can I remove it?

Hi all! I am a total newbie in here I would  very much appreciate some help :)

I am trying to make extrusion off my hexagonal wall so it will follow the 'attractor' points or points on a curve. My issues are:

1) most of the hexagons are twisting at the end I have no clue why?

2) how can I have the 'smaller' ends of hexagons accumulated in one place ?

3)how to create offseted 'walls' of the extruded hexagons?

PS. the image is what I would like to achieve but small steps at the time

Thanks for any help.
