Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Is there any tools to solve linear equation in C# script in Rhino/Grasshopper

I would like to solve linear equation with C# script in Grasshopper.

There is a way to solve linear equation by using Math.Net Numerics but

it is about in GhPython not in C# script.

Math.Net is a .NET library so you can use it directly in C#: http://numerics.mathdotnet.com

Thank you for your help !

(I am sorry for being late to reply)

Edit: to use it download the zip file and extract the .dll files you'll need. Then right-click a C# scripting component and go to Manage Assemblies. Here you can add references to the dlls and start using them in your script. Hope that helps :)

Fun fact, Math.NET is part of the GH2 codebase and already used heavily in both the interface and the sdk.

Awesome, does that mean that Rhino eventually will ship with Math.Net?

Well, GH2 will ship with Math.NET assemblies, so whenever GH2 ships with Rhino then Rhino will also ship with Math.NET.

Even so, it's a nice trajectory :)

Thank you for your help.
It works now.

check this one:

It's a mathematical optimization component package that has similar interface to David's fantastic galapagos!
