Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi there

I found this script online, that gives the flow lines on a surface ( I'm aware that there are other C# scripts available for the same),  but I would like to use the graph theory method. As I want to integrate it with other parameters such as accumulation and force etc. When I plug in my surface(which is a poly surface the component "graph from points" gives a weird error(check image). Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Best,

Mr A.

finding what seems to be the problem?

guys any luck?

Hello,

you will need to replace all spiderweb compoents, as said when sending the link, it is done with a old version of spiderweb (3.2). All version therafter use different inputs and outputs. So if you open it with a newer version of spiderweb, some components might be replaced but are not working correctly...

oh, and please provide only one connection distance, if you probide a list you will create n graphs...

Hey Richard,Thanks for the reply, just ran into another problem. Don't what values did the legacy component gave out, but it certainly has changed.  I need the immediate neighbors as a list.

Thanks in advance.

do i need to do that with closest point separately from grasshopper. I will upload the file just a more comprehensive study. I 'm having serious problems with it.

Thanks.

Hi Richard,

In addition to this script. I tried the flattest path script from spiderweb's website. I ran into some weird problem in the end.

Thanks in advance.

Best,

Aditya
