Hello,

I change the algorithm with Wikipedia one.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harmonograph

wx(t) doesn't work because wx is not an equation it is a double. You could write wx*t.

Update with sliders, frequencies are the more difficult to master

gosh ! Thanks a million !!

And using your grasshopper , I can make it 3rd dimensional by adjusting the phase.

Hi Laurent , Is it possible to put on the Z out put for both lateral and rectilinear motion ?

Currently I could only chose either to input the lateral motion formula or rectilinear motion formula on Z output on 'contract point' component , which doesn't quite reflect quite accurately if I were to build the structure to reflect a an tone on a 3dimensional aspect.

I don't really understand
If the question is : is it possible to go full 3D ? The answer is yes, duplicate sliders and formula. It is good to show your definitions for particular questions. Grasshopper is not limited it is our imagination
Best regards
