algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello everyone!

I've got quick question: What is the best way to create thr shortest walk though several different points on a certain topology?

My goal is to pre-set first and the final point, and than evaluate as short as possible curve. Any ideas?

Cheers,

I've tried to google it but I didn't find anything like this.

Thank you Joseph, I don't know if you ever used Shortest Walk plugin but there is the problem that "Wanted path" has to be a straight line between point A and B.

I already tried to connect several points or even a curve, but it does not work at all...

This problem seems to be peaty similar to the optimization of path during city tour - you've got several places to visit and the question is: what is the most efficient way to do this?

Anyone?:D

Spider Web could be useful.

Is it not the salesman problem you are seeking ?

Shortest Walk works as explained, you have some curves (roads) and you specify a start point and an end point and it seeks the shortest road/walk between the 2 points an using the road. So it works for what it is done and not for what you want :( Still no Artificial Intelligence in Grasshopper !

Hi.

I'm not quite sure but, this could be a simple domo of what you are after when there are several destinations you wish to visit...
