Components not working

Yes I am a beginner to grasshopper and rhino. I did as you suggested, defining the names using set string (see image). However I am not sure how you get the components to show the yellow boxes. Still no file created when I enabled it. Is this software for purchase so we don't have to go through this licensing issue, and if so what is the cost?

Hey Remy, 

I was able to figure out how to do what I needed to do just using grasshopper without the RCE module. However, thanks for your quick assistance and help trying to resolve the Windows/Parallels licensing issue. I wish we would have been able to figure it out, as I am curious as to what the module is capable of doing. Nevertheless, thanks again for your help; after some quick searches on how to use grasshopper, I have found this to be a very useful tool and look forward to its continued use in my work.

Hi Re'my,

    I am Master student of Digital Architecture From IRAN. I need to run RCE plug-in to catch some analysis for my master thesis.

Could I have free license ?
